The end of the calendar year offers a time for reflection on the 12 months just past and a time to look ahead, full of hope, to what may lie ahead.
Over the past year, world football has seen the wonderful display by a lot of players in and across Europe, display their talent and skills at the highest level, namely the World cup, UEFA Champions League, the Europa League, and the various Leagues across the world.
