FA CUP 4TH ROUND PREDICTIONS

Football returns to England after a brief and exciting taste of European football for the first time in the new year 2013. With Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool heavily involved.
Soccer4life takes a look at some of the prediction of games coming up this weekend; the FA Cup and the Barclay Premier League game involving Liverpool and Swansea.
FA Cup

Luton v Millwall: 1-0
After Luton Town shocked Norwich City at Carrow Road in the last round I find it very hard to predict how they will get on against Millwall at Kenilworth Road. Therefore I turned to my mother and asked her to say a random football score. She said 1-0 and why not? Luton to continue the miracle.
Arsenal v Blackburn: 3-1
I really have a feeling about Arsenal in the FA Cup this year and Blackburn Rovers shouldn’t pose to much of a threat despite Arsenal’s injury concerns and potential tinkering ahead of the Champions League tie with Bayern Munich next week. Despite that i think Arsenal will easily overcome this one.

MK Dons v Barnsley: 3-2
MK Dons hammered QPR in the last round and Karl Robinson seems to get his players really fired up for these FA Cup ties. If their best players perform at the level they can they may have enough to overcome the Championship side.

Oldham v Everton: 1-3
The FA Cup record between these two will not be good reading for Everton fans. They have never knocked Oldham out the competition in five attempts and lost 1-0 at Goodison in 2008. Everton have also looked quite flat recently while Oldham’s form has picked up but I do feel Moyes will get his team suitably motivated to dispatch of their League One opposition and erase the pains of dropping 3 points last week at Old trafford.

Manchester City v Leeds United: 2-0
A comfortable win for City should be on the cards as they take on Neil Warnock’s Leeds United; although the Yorkshiremen won’t make life easy at The Etihad, but city are in no mood for that, as the Premiership title continues to slip from their hands.

Huddersfield v Wigan: 1-1
The Terriers have just appointed a new manager and that usually results in an upturn in form. However Wigan should be able to hold out and take them back to the DW.

Manchester United v Reading: 2-0
United will be on a high after earning a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid in the Champions League and Reading should not prove a big enough threat to beat United at home. Coupled with the fact that they are the most inform team in England at the moment.

FA Cup 4th round replay
Chelsea v Brentford: 3-0
After their shock draw at Griffin Park the Champions of Europe will not be underestimating the League One side and that should lead to a comfortable advancement to face Middlesbrough in the week.

Premier League
Liverpool v Swansea: 2-2
The one Premier League game this weekend sees Liverpool take on Swansea and it will be their third game in six days which also includes a 4000km round trip to Russia. Therefore Swansea should get something from the game.
