10 REASONS WHY MANCHESTER CITY WILL WIN AJAX

Both Ajax Amsterdam and Manchester City will be hoping to reroute the current courses of their 2012 Champions League campaigns when the two squads meet for their Group D match on Wednesday. With zero and one points accrued respectively, each squad is in need of a victory to turn things around.
Though Manchester city haven't been luck enough in the Uefa Champions league this season, they still remain favourite to come out on top tonight.

10 Reasons why Manchester city will defeat Ajax tonight

1. They are an English side and they are playing away from home.
i know this may sound ironical but Ajax has not beaten and English team on their home soil since 1980.

 2. Ajax look up to Tobias Sana for their Goals
The only team in Group D to lose both Champions League matches to this point, the main problem for Ajax is simple—they have hardly been able to score.
The five goals Ajax have allowed is worst in the group as well, but four came in a single match against Real Madrid, which puts up big numbers on just about everyone. The bigger issue is that the team, despite putting up 23 goals in nine games of Eredivisie play (where Ajax has not lost yet this season), has scored just one goal in two Champions League matches.
In order to earn their first points of the season and remove themselves from the Group D cellar, Ajax must find a way to put the ball in the net. Look for 23-year-old midfielder Tobias Sana, who leads Ajax with four goals in Eredivisie play but has managed just one shot and zero goals  in each of his club's Champions League matches,
3. They have Joe Hart in goal
Joe Hart have shown in recent times what class of keeper he is. With outstanding saves in His teams last outing against the German champions Dortmund.
He will definitely be on guard to defend his post tonight and if he puts up an impressive performance again tonight Ajax will surely have a reason to be worried after 90mins.
4.  Recent performance
Manchester city have been in an outstanding form this season though not just in performance but in picking up the point. Many will argue that the premier league is not the same thing as the Champions league, but the truth is, team morale increases with the number of games you win.
5. Edin Dzeko Factor.
Manchester city have found themselves behaving like their city rivals Manchester united in keeping it late to win a game, and one player has become accustom to that role and its no other person than the super sub Edin Dzeko. So you won't be wrong to expect him to perform such magic tonight.
6. Team Manager
Manchester city have a better and experienced manger than their tonight's opponent in the person of Roberto Mancini. It may interest you to know that Roberto Mancini is nicknamed the ''The cup specialist''. He has not failed to reach the semi final of any cup competition he entered. Also having been the manager of Former Italian champions Inter Milan he knows exactly what it takes to win a game at this level.
7. The midfield Battle
Manchester city if am not mistaken have one of the strongest midfield in Europe, with midfielders who can compete physically against any team and also capable of producing goals out of nothing. In a game such as this, the man city midfield has no choice other than to deliver.
8. Depth in Squad
Though it may seem the Manchester city team had embarked on this trip with the absence of some note able players like;Jack Rodwell (hamstring) and Javi Garcia (thigh), and defender Maicon (foot) also failed to make the trip while centre-back Kolo Toure is not registered.
They still have a basket full of players to pick from. which include; Hart, Pantilimon, Johansen, Richards, Kompany, Zabaleta, Lescott, Kolarov, Clichy, Nastasic, Milner, Nasri, Barry, Y Toure, Evans, Dzeko, Sinclair, Aguero, Tevez, Balotelli.
9. Pressure
Having invested heavily in their team with a lot of money paid to buy players and also the huge money that is being spent on salaries on a weekly bases, the manchester city players and manager are under intense pressure to deliver.  And when you are faced with such pressure, my friend you have no excuse to loose.
10. They just have to win
After going through this i believe you will be convinced that loosing is not an option for the sky blue team tonight.
