WHY ARE THERE NO TRANSFER NEWS FROM THE EMIRATE?

The January transfer windows was decleared open at 12midnight January 1st, 2013. A period which have witnessed some clubs make addition to their teams. Noteably Chelsea have just concluded the signing of Senegalese Striker Demba BA for £7m and Liverpool getting the signature of English youngster Daniel Sturridge for £12m.
But till this moment there seem to be no news from the Emirate about any potential transfer. Even the News of Henry returning to the club on Loan has been decleared as rumour by the Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger and insited that it wasn't going to happen.

Arsenal didn't enjoy the very best of form during the first half of the 2012/2013 Premier League season, a form which saw them record one of their poorest start to a premier League season and also saw them being knocked out of the Capital one cup on penalty to a Division two side Bradford Fc and suffered a defeat at the hands of Manchester United and Chelsea Fc, not to mention their schoking defeat to Norwich City and Swansea.
Arsene Wenger summer recruit of Spanish Midfielder Santi Cazorla, Oliver Giroud and Lucas Poldoski have made immediate impact since joining the Club, but Arsenal at the moment are one of clubs in the premier league top four currently suffering from lack of depth in squad unlike their title rivals Manchester City and Manchester United who can produce an above average second eleven.
At the moment Arsenal fans are not satisfied with the number of goal scoring chances the Gunners front men squander in front of goal which have most times come back to hunt the team, especially the Gervihno miss against Bradford in the Capital one cup, and because of that they glamour for an addition to the striking department and Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar nicknamed the "Hunter"  has become the number one favourite by the fans on the wish list.
The ratio of Arsenal goal scoring to the their goal scoring chances may not be as high as the fans may want, but there is no denying the truth that many still think Arsenal's problem this season can also be traced to the defence department.
Fans with this opinion  have accused the Arsenal back line of giving up goals easily and have pointed accusing fingers to skipper Vermaelen and the young french defender Koscienly for their lack of concentration at the back, a defect that have cost the teams some precious points already.

Arsenal have been linked with a long list of players during this winter transfer a list which includes Wilfred Zaha, M'Villa, David Villa and Manchester United Luis Nani.
But as the clock ticks and yet no new deal done at the Emirate not even the contract renewal of Theo Walcott, many Arsenal fans are asking "WHY ARE THERE NO TRANSFER NEWS FROM THE EMIRATE?" I think Wenger will be in a better position to give an answer to that question.
