HOW THE ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE ENDED IN 2013

The 2013 premier league calendar which began on January 1st with the game between West Brom and Fulham with Dimitar Berbatov scoring the first goal of the year as Fulham went ahead to win 2 - 1 after Romelu Lukaku equalised for West Brom in the 49th minute to cancel out Berbatov's 39th minute strike, came to an end today 29th of December 2013 with a double headed between Chelsea vs Liverpool and Tottenham vs Stoke city with Aaroan Lennon scoring the last goal of the 2013 calendar year as Tottenham crushed Stoke City 3 nil.

The 2013 EPL calendar came to an end with a total of 10 games played, with six being played on Saturday and the remaining four on Sunday among which was the game between Newcastle and Arsenal Fc which the gunners won by a single Giroud goal to return to the submit of the league. Which means this is the first time in 9 years the Gunners are achieving the feat of topping the league before New year.

With the 2014 calendar year fast approaching the current calendar year will always be remembered for many years to come for a lot of reasons with the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson paramount on the list but the resurgence of Liverpool and Arsenal will definitely not be omitted from that list.
And this is how the premier league was at the end of 2013.

The name Luis Suarez remains one that will be remembered whenever the 2013 English premier league calendar year is mention not just for the wrong reasons but also for the right reasons as his goals has seen him top the goal scorers chat and also help push Liverpool high up in the league table more than they were by this time in 2012.

With the premier league just half way through we will just have to keep our fingers crossed and see what the 2014 calendar year has in store for us. Even if nothing is certain, one thing is "that its really going to be an exciting year of Football come 2014".
