EPL Prediction Match Day 2 2015/2016

The opening round of fixtures of the new Barclays premier league season threw up some interesting results to nullify most of the prediction done by soccer pundit worldwide, with Swansea picking up a point at stamford bridge, Watford also picking up a point against premier league old boys Everton and favorite Arsenal well beaten by West Ham at the Emirate stadium.
Now the second round of matches kicks off with a rare Friday night football between Aston Villa and Manchester united, and also provides the red side of  Manchester  the opportunity to tighten their grip at the top at this early stage as their rivals face tricky test as Manchester city take on Chelsea and Arsenal travel to face Crystal Palace.

Below are our prediction for match day 2

ASTON VILLA vs MANCHESTER UNITED 1 X 2 (2)
Manchester United return to one of their favorite hunting ground Villa park as Louis Van Gaal's men try to master the philosophy of the dutch gaffer after having escaped with all three point against Tottenham on the opening day of the season. They will be hoping to remain lucky against the Villains as they aim to record a second win in as much game.
Aston Villa may have secured all three point against premier league new boys Bournemouth, the visit of Manchester United will prove too tough for them and I look no further than United to win this one.
ASTON VILLA 1 - 2 MAN UTD

SOUTHAMPTON VS EVERTON 12:45 GMT 1 X 2 (1)
Since the arrival of Koeman at Southampton the Saints have suddenly become a force to reckon with in the league. And with Everton still finding their feet following a disappointing campagin last season I see Southampton bagging all three point in front of their home supporters.
 Southampton 2 - 0 Everton

SUNDERLAND VS NORWICH 15:00 GMT 1 X 2 (1)
Sunderland have once again been handed another tricky fixture after being beaten by Leicester city last weekend this time around they face one of the newly promoted side in Norwich City.
This will prove a tough one to call, with Adam Johnson out for the Black Cats I see Sunderland coming out of this fixture with a narrow victory.
Sunderland 1 - 0 Norwich

SWANSEA VS NEWCASTLE 15:00 GMT 1 X 2 (1)
Swansea surprised many with their performance against the champions Chelsea where they were able to crave out a lot of goal scoring opportunity and also pressuring to the extent the Chelsea goal keeper was shown a red card.
Newcastle on the other hand have been improving their squad with a host of new signings which will take a little time for them to gel and begin to produce result and before that happens they are sure to drop points against the swans come Saturday.
Swansea 3 - 1 Newcastle

TOTTENHAM VS STOKE CITY 15:00 GMT (1)
This will of course be an interesting fixture if not for any reason but for the fact that Stoke city will unleash their latest acquisition Xherdan Shaqiri. Stoke city fans will be excited to see their new signing on display but his presence may not be enough to keep Spurs at bay.
Tottenham 2 - 0 Stoke

WEST HAM VS LEICESTER CITY 15 :00 GMT (X)
Both teams recorded significant victory last weekend, West ham victory over Arsenal is not one that will be easily forgotten in a hurry and as such Leicester have a cause to be worried as they pay the hammers a visit.
While West ham will be trying to win the physical battles Leicester will be doing the playing. This game promises to be a tough one and looks like one that will produce the first draw of the weekend.
West Ham 2 - 2 Leicester City

CRYSTAL PALACE VS ARSENAL Sunday 13:30 GMT 1 X 2 (X2)
This would not have been a course for alarm on a normal day but with the current form of Crystal Palace this fixture will not be so easy for the Gunners who began their season on the wrong foot and will be out to set the record straight.
Palace will be hoping they can put in the same performance which they did against Tottenham last season and the Gunners to loose guard as they did against the hammers last Sunday.
Crystal Palace 1 - 3 Arsenal

MANCHESTER CITY VS CHELSEA  Sunday 16:00 GMT  1 X 2 (X)
Many will feel this fixture is coming to sudden, but it does not really matter when it comes up because the outcome will always be the same irrespective of the day it is played.
Man City and Chelsea are two teams who are out to increase their tally on the number of times they have won the premiership title so as to be in the same class with Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool.
And so will do everything within their reach to achieve t even if it means paying over the odd for a player.
Fixtures such as this brings out the best in Jose Mourihno, he lives for games like this and his desire to win will make his team not to loose and for Manuel pelligrini he will also not want to loose sight of the top 4 spot so early in the season and so this promises to be an exciting game of football which will end with both teams cancelling each other.
Manchester City 0 - 0 Chelsea.
