EPL Prediction Match day1 2015/2016 Season

The English premier league returns for the 2015/2016 season, as Chelsea get set to defend their title while Arsenal, Manchester City and Man Utd will be there to wrestle the title back from the blues.
Arsenal who last won the English premier league title in 2004 will be hoping this season will see things change after just breaking their 9 years trophy drought 2 seasons ago by winning the FA cup for the first time since 2005.
Manchester City on the other hand will be wondering how they manage to loose the title to Chelsea last season after winning it in the 2013/2014 season and they will be willing to battle it out with the Blues even if it will go down the wire.
The other side of Manchester has also not failed to make their intentions clear by spending heavily to see that they return to the submit of English football. Though finishing among the first three will be regarded as a success for the Red devils that will not prevent them from aiming to win the trophy for the first time since the exit of club Legend Sir Alex Ferguson.

As the premier league returns with match day 1, below are our predictions.

MANCHESTER UNITED VS TOTTENHAM 12:45 GMT  (1 x 2)
Manchester united recorded an emphatic 3 -0 victory against their opponent last season even when all odds where against them. Following that foundation already set, I see United repeating the same in this season's opener at Old trafford, but the difference being that Spurs will record a goal.
United playing in front of their fans for the first time since singing their new players and unveiling their new addidas jersey will be their source of inspiration.
Man utd 3 - 1 Tottenham.  (1)

AFC BOURNEMOUTH VS ASTON VILLA 15:00 GMT (1 x 2)
Bournemouth may be a new team in the league this season but they will be a good test for their experience opponent.
Bournemouth will be playing in front of their fans in their 12,000 capacity stadium, a feat which many of them will still feel is too good to be real.
AFC Bournemouth may have had a disastrous pre season loosing to Salisbury City, Cardiff City and drawing goalless with Nantes and Hoffenheim they will still prove to be a tough opponent for Aston Villa who also won a single game during their pre season warm up games against Swindon Town.
Aston Villa did not have the best of season last term until the recovery of star striker Christian Benteke who has left for Liverpool and the resurgence in form of former United midfielder Tom Cleverly who has also left for Everton which leaves Aston Villa kind of bare.
Putting all this into consideration I see Bournemouth welcoming their fans into the premier league with a narrow victory over Aston villa.
AFC Bournemouth 1 - 0 Aston Villa (1x)

EVERTON VS WATFORD 15:00 GMT  (1 x 2)
Roberto Matinez may have ended last season wondering what could have gone wrong after steering Everton to a respectable finish in the 2013/2014 season when he first too over the helm of affair at the Merseyside club. This fresh season provides him with a fresh opportunity to get things right from the beginning and there is no better way then picking up all 3 point against premier league new boys Watford.
Watford may have performed so well in the championship last season but the premier league is a different ball game entirely, a lesson which they will likely learn on the first day of the season at the hands of the Toffees.
Everton 2 - 0 Watford (1x)

LEICESTER CITY VS SUNDERLAND 15:00 GMT  (1 x 2)
This promises to be a tricky affair when two teams who can easily beat each other on every other day battle it out at the King power stadium.
Leicester will forever remember their heroics last season as they battled till survival and also a superb comeback against Manchester united at Old trafford a feat only few clubs can boast of.
Sunderland on the other hand have also not been fantastic but as they say "every new season provides a new opportunity for a surprise".
for me this certainly will go down as a draw.
Leicester City 2 - 2 Sunderland (x)

NORWICH VS CRYSTAL PALACE  (1 x 2) 15:00 GMT
It not always common to talk more about the away team in a game of two almost equal side. But one cannot ignore the form of Crystal Palace since the appointment of French man Alan Pardew.
Norwich will be hoping that things does not go in favour of the Eagles as they kick start the new campaign.
Norwich 1 - 2 Crystal Palace (2)

CHELSEA VS SWANSEA (1 X 2) 17:30 GMT
The Blues begin their title defence in front of their home fans who some days ago watched them fall 0- 1 to serie A side Fiorentina. But this time around Jose Mourihno will have his best players on the pitch knowing fully well what he is up for this season especially with Arsene Wenger waiting at the corner for him to fail, after he called the French man a specialist in failure.
Swansea city have somehow always proved to be good on their first games of the season with their victory over man utd last season being a perfect example.
The Blues will no doubt provide too much water for the "Swams"to swim in even with the absence of the unfit Diego costa.
Chelsea 4 - 0 Swansea (1)

ARSENAL VS WEST HAM (1 X 2) SUNDAY 13:30GMT
The Gunners all of a sudden seems to be an unstoppable team in the league recording victories against Manchester City, Man utd (FA Cup) and Liverpool last season.
Arsene Wenger's men had a fantastic pre season picking up three trophies in the process with the latest being the community shield in which they defeated Chelsea by 1 goal to nil.
West ham will be cursing their luck as to why they will have to be the first to test the wrath of the gunners this season, but they will be hoping that Andy Carrol and company will be on form to help withstand the wrath.
Arsenal 3 - 0 West ham (1)

STOKE CITY VS LIVERPOOL (1 X 2) SUNDAY 16:00 GMT
Stoke city surprised many last season by thrashing Liverpool 6 - 1 on the last day of the season a very bad way to send forth premier league legend and Liverpool icon "captain fantastic" Steven Gerard.
The big question now is "will lighten strike twice on the same spot"?
Liverpool on the other hand have tried to cover up their flaws be deeping deep into the transfer market to secure the services of players such as Christian Beneteke, Firmihno, Dany Ings, Nathan Cylne while they made a huge profit from the sale of Raheem Sterling to Manchester city.
With stoke trying to repeat last season result against their opponent and Liverpool trying to take their own pound of flesh off Stoke, this may as well end up as a draw game.
Stoke 1 - 1 Liverpool (x)

WEST BROM VS MANCHESTER CITY (1 X 2) MONDAY 20:00 GMT
Its never easy lining up against a wounded team. And that is the case of West Brom as they face Manchester City who will be playing 48 hours after their other title rivals must have bagged 3 points from their games.
City will come out blazing from the start as they aim not to be lagging behind and so this one naturally will go down as a win for city.
West brom 1 - Manchester City 2. (x2)
