WHO IS WILFRIED ZAHA?

With the withdrawal of Wayne Rooney and Theo Walcott from the England squad for the international friendly against Sweden, A certain youngster has been called up to the squad for his first international senior cap, and this player is one who has been eager to player for his native country Ivory Coast before being persuaded to play for England a country which he has lived in since he was 4 years old. His call up may have come as a surprise to many, but the player am talking about is Wilfried Zaha.

The big question is, WHO IS WILFRIED ZAHA?
Dazet Wilfried Armel Zaha (born 10 November 1992) is a footballer who plays for Crystal Palace as a winger, but he can play as a striker. Zaha was born in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire and moved to South London with his family when he was four years old.
Zaha, a graduate of Palace's successful youth academy, has been a revelation in the Championship over the past two seasons and has played a major role in propelling the club to the top of the table with an unbeaten run that stretches to 13 matches. He becomes the first outfield player from the second tier to be involved under Hodgson having maintained his recent impressive form in Saturday's 2-1 victory at Peterborough. The home manager, Darren Ferguson, reaffirmed after that game that Zaha was "the best player outside the Premier League", the winger having attracted scouts from several top-flight clubs, notably Arsenal and Spurs.
  Zaha is the first Championship outfield player to be called up for England since striker Jay Bothroyd in 2010.
Crystal Palace co-chairman Stephen Browett told BBC Sport: "It's a great achievement for Wilfried, who celebrated his 20th birthday on Saturday.
"He's been at Palace since the age of 12 and we're all very proud of him. A shining advertisement for our wonderful academy"
